charities in the las vegas, nevada area that would take used toys?
I have tons of used toys in good condition like barbies, barbie houses and lots and lots of stuffed animals. i would really hate to throw these out, so I was wondering if any of you know of a charity that would take my used toys to benefit someone else. Thank you for your help.
I would check your local hospitals, day care centers, churches that may have play areas, etc. Even your local library may accept them.
Day care centers would probably love to have them!
Women shelters would probably love to have them too! Women come in with little ones and they have nothing, call them and see if you can drop anything off at their central offices.
Call your local hospitals and children hospitals and see if they’re in need of anything.
Check your local Elementary schools and see if they need any for their classrooms or play areas.
If your local areas are not in need, check your surrounding areas, they may even come and pick them up!
You can even call the local consignment shops that take donations to sell things to raise money for charities, if no one else will take them as a donation, you can use that as your last resort and let them sell them and use the money for charity.
You can call the churches and see if they need any for their day care centers, etc.
Call homeless shelters and see if they need any for the children that come in with their parents. I’m sure a toy would comfort them when they come in.
If you know anyone that runs a Day Care center in their home, call them and see if they would like to have them. I’m sure they can always use new toys.
I would first try the Day Care Centers, Women Shelters, and Hospitals, and then go from there. They may take you up on them first.
